It’s quite a ‘complicated’ site in terms of how much text there has to be, and at the same time a few pictures are needed to show off the various tours. It’s been through quite a few iterations on the various apps we’ve used over the last… seven or eight years I guess.
Anyway comments welcome!
p.s. the colour scheme divides me - in some ways pleasing, and defiantly different from the all white sites we’re used to, but it’s very in your face! However it was sort of settled on before I came to the site anyway.
Hi,
Obviously alot of work has gone into the website! It works well with navigation - having the bar at the side and the colour scheme is actually alright! The layout is done well put on the pages there is, perhaps, too much information - breaking it up would make it an easier read I think.

Yeh that’s next on the agenda really - more gaps in text, spaces between text and pictures, and some sort of logic in the use of bold, italics and large text.

Well - a personal comment of course, but I do think the yellow is a
bit harsh!
Something a little less primary might be better… reduce the
saturation so it is still pale but a bit more muted, perhaps? Perhaps
a touch greyer?
You might find it is a slightly easier read if you let different text
elements sit slightly apart. For example, the first set of lines in http://www.drttours.co.uk/WorldWarI.html could do with a little
spacing out between the different logical information elements.

Oh yeh defiantly - thanks for pointing out. That’s far too squashed (even compared to the rest of the site)
