photo sharing etc..

Good afternoon,

I have a question from a client that would like to know how to do the following:
Photos:
I’d like to be able to have the site link up with a photo sharing site (such as Picasa http://picasa.google.com/ or photobucket) where I can upload/update photos on the photo-hosting site and have the changes reflect real-time on the shop’s website.
Ideally, I would be able to direct from folders to frames on the page; the main frame/slide show being from one folder, with a smaller photos slide show drawing from another folder with highlights of other products.

her website is: http://www.freshandfluffyshop.com

Thanks!

Julie

Each of these sharing sites may have its own API for this sort of thing. I have used the Flickr one before, it was pretty simple. You send a request and it gives you back the images in a structured reply. You should ask your client for her credentials, and investigate at the site in question to see if they have any “Embed this gallery in your Web site”-style options available from the admin side of things.
