Long and labourious indeed! I bailed when it became clear that it was
a continuous ramble and there had been no effort made to edit out
pauses. This is a good example of a video presentation “don’t”.

anyone have a good way of converting an address database to google
maps - I have found an online version that will take csv, but it adds
some integrated ad info into the output - looking for a mac converion

Don’t know how this ended up here… couldn’t reply by email because of ISP problems, finding it on the web site took a bit as it didn’t seem to get entered in a seperate thread… anyway,
I have a site that can show Google maps for 58,000 locations, I use the lat and long coords for this, have them all stored in a MySQL database on the server and then pull the info for the location that is selected and load that into some php code that sets the coords for the Google Map. I have not used actual addresses for this but the principal will be the same, store the data in a database and pull the relevant data for the selected address.
If you have the CSV file then that should be able to be used to populate a MySQL database on your server, you will then need a small amount of code to make the query for selected address and print that your your map page.
