Does this still work with the latest version of Pro? I used this before, some time ago, and just tried it with a button that has “send” in submit… This works with another site I did, but it doesn’t seem to be working now? Page is designated contactus.php Have Host is my provider.

The page that has the form on it does not need to be a php page as the action creates the php page (which is the form handler) for you ie contactus-go.php
Also php pages cannot be previewed locally and have to be uploaded (or run under MAMP)

Yes it will work fine but php pages are used when underlying code on the page is being implemented.
In the case of the PHPFF action a separate page is created by the action and the code is run there - in your case it will be contactus-go.php - and that is why it has the .php suffix.

The update incorporates a number of additions added over the last few
weeks in an attempt to get GoDaddy servers to process forms. To this
end there is now a “Use GoDaddy’s mail script” option that
automatically sets up your Freeway generated form to use the default
form processing script found on GoDaddy’s servers. While not as
versatile as the form processing script the action would normally use
it works and is fully supported by GoDaddy’s support team.

Sure. The existing features you currently use haven’t changed so
updating the action will simply add a few new features.
Keep a copy of your old action to hand just in case something goes
wrong but generally, yes, you should be OK to upgrade.
