PHP form - missing files

I have a website that uses the PHP feedback form action. Normally I make changes to the site and upload - easy.

But now, I make a change to the site and upload or publish and the “contactus-go.php” file is missing in my site folder?

Is there any reason why it would just stop working.

Hi BigG,

Make sure that the file in the Site Folder isn’t being renamed
contactus-goa(or b, c, d etc).php.

If it is, delete the contents of the local Site Folder and reuplaod.
This should fix the problem, if that’s what it is.

Also, make sure you are on the latest version of the Action.

Hi Joe

I deleted the folder, created a new one so that its an empty folder then re-published to this new folder, but still no .php files were written.

The action version I’m using is 1.9 and I’m using FreewayPro 4.4

When using this Action in the past I noticed that no PHP is created
or used to when there are no pages used for error and success. Have
you missed those out?

Also, have you got a link to the page that doesn’t have the PHP?

I dont have a link as I cannot upload because of the problem. The thing is this is an existing site with an existing contact form, so it has all been working. Its just now when I have made a change to another page (just a simple text change) and published, no PHP files are there.

There are error and success pages as it hasnt been changed since the last time I edited the site which worked fine.

I have just created a new form and published that too - again no PHP files were created - the page can be viewed at:

Strange, this might be one for the author of the Action, Tim. The
only other thing I can think of is that you don’t have AppleScript
enabled in the Freeway Preferences but it shouldn’t be possible to
use the Action without this.

Cheers,

Joe

Hi,
Can you send me a sample Freeway file that contains just these pages please?
I’ll take a closer look. You are correct that the PHP file isn’t getting created
for some reason.
Regards,
Tim.
