The way I understand it, you add sections in the Admin control panel. The sections are the bits that can be edited by your clients. Create a new section and name so it reflect the content eg. “AboutUs_content”
To add the sections to your site click on the Install button on the left and then select your option: either php or javascript and the section name in the drop-down list. I think the javascript option is the easier one to use. The code that gets generated must be pasted into your FW page. In FW insert the Crowbar action where you need the editable content then paste the code into Crowbar action Window.
As a side note Pulse CMS works on a similar premise but is much easier to use and implement into FW, has more features (blog, gallery) and it’s cheaper (Free or $19). http://www.pulsecms.com/
Marcel described it pretty well. You create an editable section and then put its code on your web page. Now every time you make a change to the content using your own password protected administration page the change applies on your web page without the need to update the html code.
That other cms script sees to have a lot of useless features if your only need is to be able to change content on your web pages.
If you need any help you can contact us via our website and we will be happy to help you.
Hi Marcel,
thank you so much for explaining. I tried to contact PHPJabbers, but the only explaination i got was
enter content… ( sorry team!)
and i did not even ask for FW help…
What eats me, ist that there is no manual or explaination at all… how do you get to your pages, admin, etc… but i’m going to try and contact them again…
thanks… I’ll try the crowbar action!!

did you see our reply How come you did not receive a reply when we reply to every request usually within minutes. We even replied here (some website which has notthing to do with our websites or support system ).
Also here
you can see almost the same explanation as the one above
How does it work?
For each page section that you want to edit you can create a new “Page Section” in the admin page. You then put a small piece of JavaScript or PHP code on your web page where the editable section should be. Using the password protected administration page you can now edit this page section and the changes will apply on your web page without downloading or uploading your web pages.
Hi PHPjabbers…
sorry i only now see that i left half of my message empty! sorry, normaly i am far more nicer… realy! i think i am in a ‘end of year hurry’.
yes i did get in touch… and i will again…
thanks for the reply!
OH!! i sure am glad to have found it!! i just don’t have a clue how to use it LOL…
But i did find it, because of this list!! there was a topic for a calender and so the path was taken…
i think a lot of the FW users are a bit to spoild in their way of working, that we ( read ‘i’ ) don’t see anymore how to start something else…
i know i spent so many sleepless nights over zencart… but i’m sure i will master this someday to!!
yes… problem is that i have no idea where to start… i see a lot of files… i have an admin… and then?? i miss some step by step guidens what to do, or what i am supposed to see…
ive become paris hilton of webdesign… totaly spoiled…

Actually the basic and ‘Free’ option has no useless features, that being one of its charms and though probably splitting hairs is probably easier to implement and use than PHPjabbers cms. The pro version is equally slick to implement.
After looking at phpjabbers cms, I am confused as to why anyone would pay $28 to get what pulse basic offers for free. They do the exact same thing. And pulse is way nicer looking. Just my opinion, I’ve been using the pulse pro version on two sites for a while and Im pretty happy with it
I have used quite a few of the phpJabber scripts and their customer service is commendable but their CMS script is no match for PulseCMS especially the Po version.
