Pic to lightbox action

I had to move one of my sites to a new user login and for some reason the ‘Pic to Lightbox’ action just throws up errors saying it cannot locate the .gifs / .css / .js etc.

So, I have deleted the action (rightly or wrongly) and cannot find where to download it from.

Can anyone point me in the right direction - I like the multiple items in each lightbox option. Unless there’s a better one anyone can recomend?

Thanks
Nathan

Not sure which action you are meaning - can you post a link to a page/site where you are using it.

Could it be moo:Slimbox, part of Weavers MooTools suite.

Remember that Moo and Script/Protaculous actions (FW native ones) don’t play well together on the same page.

Hi there

Weaver actually has a Lightbox image action that works well with Script/Protaculous actions available from http://www.coastalrugs.com/Actions/misc.actions.html

All you need to do is make sure you apply the Protaculous action to any page you are using this action on and set the library in the action to Scriptaculous-packed. You can see it in action at http://www.dundeemuseumoftransport.co.uk/gallery/events2010/ to check if this is the action you’ve lost.

All the best

It’s called Lightbox.fwaction
In the FW menu drop down it reads “Pic to lightbox image”.
It doesn’t work whether protaculous is on the page or not.

It has been working for months, but when I moved the files to a new user, it stopped working.

I can use another lightbox. It’s just that I have 80-100 images with 5-10 images within each lightbox set so will be quite a bit of work, just to get back to where I was.

I’ve had Moo: Slimbox play awkward occasionally when updating other content in the same div. required reapplying action to correct, might be a similar situation.

Generally I would still stick with Moo: Slimbox as in the main its excellent and does what I need.

I’m having the same problem. It just doesn’t seem to work on new site.

The only reason use it, is because Scripty Lightbox doesn’t let me put an image name in the pic.

Any ideas?

I’ve just set this up on a couple of pages with FreewayPro 5.6 and it still seems to work okay here. However it can be a bit temperamental at times.

I’d suggest rebuilding your site afresh and that has usually sorted things out for me. Failing that delete the contents of your site folder and then rebuild again.

I think holding down the control key when using the File menu gives you the option to republish your whole site. If all else fails try removing and reapplying the action.

Make sure as well that the Protaculous action is applied to the page and set to Scriptaculois-packed.

All the best

Gordon

Ah…that seems to have done the trick.

When I used it other times, I think I just applied Transition Effects to a blank box and it seemed to get the action to work OK.

I will save this info so I don’t forget it!

Thanks again.
