I have published, saved and uploaded my page to the website. Everything is there, index, pictures, etc. BUT…the pictures are not showing. Text shows, but there are placeholders where the picts should be. I called customer support and they said it must be something with my settings with the software. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

do you have an FTP application like Transmit handy?
Take a look in your web server, and see what permissions your images have. If they are not world-readable, that could cause the problem you describe. Freeway should, and usually does, set these correctly, but something on your server may be preventing this.
