Definitely an improvement. Text tool is much nicer. Now if they can get layer effects added I would consider using it as a primary tool.

Well…somewhat nicer. Text still needs to be converted to pixels to add effects.

Yes I agree, I wish for that also.

Also, the pen seems to work a bit different then the pen with PSD - trying to learn it so that I can pen around a figure / object and cut out background like in PSD but cant seem to figure out how.

A definite improvement over v1 but I’m still not thrilled with the gradient tool. I don’t know if it’s true but I read a review that claimed no support for 16-bit color depth. If true it seems a rather curious omission.
