What actions are you in most need of updating? If they are plain text
actions you can open each in a text editor and specify the exact width
for the text fields. For example;
would become;
or whatever width you find most suitable for your screen layout.
I agree that being able to specify the widths as a percentage of the
palette width would be good. Until then adjusting the actions manually
to suit your needs should help.

In particular the mals actions relating to items that have longish similar
product names - but this has come up before in other longer text in small
fields.
Thankyou for responding helpfully. I will have a go at what you say.
Perhaps SP would allow a % entry and make this easier - or a tooltip on
mouseover to show full name - though that isn’t really what would help me
edit them.
