Preview page is blank

I just upgraded to Pro 5 and was trying to fix some things on my site. Now I have a one page site that when I preview the page it’s blank. I even uploaded the page to my host as blank (I uploaded before previewing because I trusted it was correct). When I look at the index.html file it is completely blank. I searched the forums and found this same thing back in July 2008 but no resolve.
Anyone have a clue that I can follow?
I originally set up the site in Freeway 5 Express with 6 domains on one hosted site and wanted to split this up to 6 separate files in FW5Pro.

What I did was,
I opened the original site from express in Pro then created new documents for each of the domains then copied over the relevant info making new folders for each one.

Was this correct or did I mess up from that point on?

Thanks,
studiodave

Not quite sure what you mean by this - you couldn’t ever have used FW to upload to 6 different domains from 1 document.

What is the URL of the ‘blank’ page?

Well since they are all just in folders you can and this is the same
way I did this in GoLive for the last 5 years. Anyway the current
blank one is S. I. Studio, video, Tape, Film and vinyl conversion

Well its blank OK - except for a pile of spaces!

What do you see on the FW page? Do you have any actions on the page?

On the freeway page the complete page is there and I have not ventured
into any actions yet.
I have two screen shots that I can send to you if you like one with
the page view and one with the blank preview.

Interesting

Neither of these images shows on the web page! Though they are both viewable directly in your Resources folder on the server.

I am afraid that this is beyond me. Apart from the usual - Quit Freeway, Shut Down your Mac, Restart and relaunch FW I don’t know what to suggest.

I would try by creating a NEW FW doc with NEW site folder and then copy and paste the pages from the old doc into the new. You can select the page icons in the site panel and copy/paste from there.

The only other thing I see is a reference to this JS: si-studio.com/Resources/FW_Object.js - I dont know what that is and what significance, if any, it has.

This is a strange one. I looked from another computer and I see the
images from that link. I will shut down the computer and make dinner
then try again.

Thanks,

Dave

That’s used for plug-in content, like QuickTIme or Flash.

Doesn’t look blank to me; I see a site about transferring movies. Or
have you since fixed it?

I reverted back to the site from Freeway Express.
Thanks for looking.
I have still not found the problem.

I fixed it, What I did was created new documents for each domain
(started over) and then folders, then copied the master pages first,
then the regular pages. I must have done that in the wrong order the
first time, that’s all I can think of anyway.
All is well now with my oddball web site.

Thanks,

Dave
