Printing a database from the web

Hi,

I have a site with a database of registrants behind it.

What ideally I’d like to do is be able to print, but control the way it is
formatted, these are some of the sorts of results:

a single registrant's details
the results of a search
the whole database or selected geographical segments

I seem to recall a while back some discussion around this topic and mention
of using “stylesheet(s)” which would format the data differently from the
form on-screen, keeping in mind the requirement for economic printing,
perhaps in columns, controlling the font and it’s size etc.

Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction for some further
reading.

Best wishes Peter
