Try this and see how you get on:

  1. Double-click so you get a blinking text cursor, and in the menu bar, to go Insert > HTML Item.
  2. In the inspector, set it’s width to 33%. Also, set it to “float: left”.
  3. Press ⌘D twice to duplicate that two times.

That should work for you!
