Had to run out… just got back. Before I left I took everything out of
the folders and it worked. Not good for my organizational needs however as
there are a LOT of pages.
This is the 3rd time this has happened. Seems like if I make a big change
to one folder… I lose them all?
Any thoughts? And thank you!

How are you uploading after changing these folders?
If you are not using FW to upload you are running the risk of missing pages/resources.
Posting a link is the first thing you should be doing so that we can see what is going on - if we can see the underlying code we can help. Otherwise we are in the dark as much as you.
Well I figured if I sent you a link now it wouldn’t tell the story since I
pulled everything out of the files to make it work.
All of my ‘logged in’ pages (which were in the folders) went missing. All
of them end in ‘li’. The page that started the hunt was www.candonetworks.com/channelshomeli.html
That’s when I noticed all of them were not working.
I always use Freeway to upload.
Thanks!

I pulled the pages out of the folders and put them all in the main folder
and re-uploaded. We had a demo happening shortly and I had to work around
it… that’s what fixed it last time.
Then I read some more in the support docs and put them back in folders a
few weeks ago. It has been fine until today (that I’m aware of). I deleted
several pages out of one folder is the only major change to the site. But
did nothing but tweaks to a few others. The ones that went missing I had
done nothing to.
It’s all rather odd and random to me.
But you are the Sen Se… not even sure that’s how it’s spelled!!!
Obie Wan? I’m pretty sure that¹s correct!!

Hmmm. Good to know. Is there a trick I should know for that? Maybe I’ll
just pull the extras out for now. It was just suppose to show a function
more than anything.
This is a temporary site. Those are just a couple of test channels for
demo purposes. So it’s all kind of a ‘work around’. And the final launch
site looks quite different. But I do need it to do basic things until the
full launch in about 60 days again for demos.
This program is incredible though for other things that I do for other
folks. And as stated before, I am blown away by the support. I don’t think
I would ever go to Muse if for no other reason than the support available
almost instantly. It is quite a testimony to you guys. And I see the
program doing nothing but getting better no doubt.
Thanks again.

BTW your channels on the left don’t scroll on an iPad.
Well, how I discovered it was a redirect page through our shopping cart
was giving a 404.
Then when I typed in the page address it also went to a 404.
So then I tried all the logged in pages and they were all giving the same
error. (Well in all honesty I only checked about 4 or 5 and then went into
a panic to fix it.)
I had to leave for a meeting and someone was doing a demo so the only way
I knew to fix it quick enough was to pull them out of the folders and
re-upload.
I can put them back in tonight and try again… We have more demos
tomorrow though so I have to be ready for those. I am testing all kinds of
things tonight however and am available as long as someone else wants to
be!
Thanks,
D

When you say they were missing - do you mean that links from other pages
to them didn’t work or that when you typed in a web address they didn’t
show.
FW will rename pages to avoid duplication/clashes.
