[Pro] 404 Issues

I have recently redesigned this site and I wanted to put a 404 page in place, but I’m having trouble. This is a non-apache server — my understanding is that it doesn’t utilize .htaccess files. Is there another way?

Thanks!

Doty

What sort of cPanel (or similar) are they using - you can often configure the 404 in there. You may have to create a 404.shtml page first though.

I finally got this taken care of. I had to switch to a 404.php file. From there, I was able to select that option in my host settings. This is the first non-apache server I’ve worked with. The hosting company is http://www.netins.net/

Thanks for your help, everyone!
