[Pro] A Failed Workaround

I’ve pushed the idea of getting “Link to Page” to work out of my best of all possible alternatives category, and tried a different approach.

I tried to use the “To create a new page as you link to it” idea (found on page 166 of the FW5 reference manual).

I created a Graphic box, typed Link to new page in it, highlighted the word page and then when to the Edit menu and selected Hyperlink.

Selected New Page (gave it a name) and clicked OK.

The new page was created, the word “page” appear as underlined blue text in the Preview mode…BUT when I click on the word (page)…NOTHING happens!!

What the Heck!! All other functionality on these pages work.

DARN!

I have all the content from the Master page in the new page (viewed in the left column showing the Site Folder. The new page exists, is different than all other pages (except the Master) The hyperlink does not work.

I will gladly provide and Mac based system details if you (or anyone) think it could be a compatibility issue.

All I see is that the FW app on my mac does not provide a method of linking pages. No site navigation.
