[Pro] Accordion and jQuery

Hi,

Which accordion can I use that won’t clash with JQuery on the same page?

A JQuery based one!

What are you doing in JQuery that cant be done with one of the FW script/protaculous actions?

Here is a quick example http://www.deltadesign.co/examples/jqueryacc.html using JQuery.

Based on code from Case Study: jQuery Fixer Upper | CSS-Tricks - CSS-Tricks

Thanks chaps,

The JQuery I’m using is for a ‘Reset’ button that only clears certain parts of a form.

I’ll have a look at your suggestions above and work out a fix.

Thanks again, both of you.

Sly.

If you post your JQuery code I am sure that someone could convert it/provide the Script/Protaculous equivalent.

Good idea Dave. I’m sure I can work up a JQuery Accordion with the help you’ve given me above. But out of interest. The clever bit of JQuery that resets only part of a form can be seen in action here, along with the code: http://www.electrictoolbox.com/jquery-clear-form/

See what you think.

So why not just use the vanilla javascript method that he outlines http://www.electrictoolbox.com/javascript-clear-form/

I suppose it’s obvious. I just thought JQuery is a derivative of Javascript and therefore javascript would clash with Scripty/Moo also.

Thanks Dave, I’ll try it.
