[Pro] Accordion or Carousel

I want to create a accordion/carousel like effect for a navigation. Saw a couple of nice ones. Any suggestions on how to create these effects?

I would be very grateful for any help from you seasoned experts. Thanks

Not sure I can offer much help, other than to say that Walter’s Carousel Action is very easy to use and I think it would work for what the Bentley site is doing.

Not sure how I would tackel the catamaran site…would love to hear what the pros think about that. I just saw that the EWA flash software that Softpress is promoting could create something like that.

Hi Sverker

Have a look at BannerZest Pro Rakuten DX — Rakuten DX It would do the catamaran effect for you.

Sverker,
The Catamaran site effect is achievable using javascript and mootools, although I am unsure how to implement it in Freeway. See this page for details:

Try the ScriptyAccordion Action, in horizontal mode. It shouldn’t be
that tricky to do. Use inline images as your headers, interspersed
with inline DIVs (HTML boxes) for the content. The only trick is to
set all the contents to float left and to avoid inserting any extra
paragraph returns inside your main outer container element.

Thank you all.
I understand that there are several ways of doing things in Freeway… I shall try them all.

THANKS!!
