This client wants a blog added to their website – is there a straightforward way to do this?

Cheers

I use Google’s Blogger and install it in an iframe. it’s very straight forward and easy. You can see an example of it here: [http://phelpssculpture.com/thedailysculptor.html](http://phelpssculpture.com/thedailysculptor.html)

You can with Pulse - add it to your site I mean - [http://pulsecms.com/](http://pulsecms.com/)

You can also use the FW actions to create a blog (blogger) page to match your own site.

Or, as David has done, display a blogger site in an iFrame - not so easy to get it looking right though. Missing image on yours David.

That’s not good news!! What image is missing? I’m seeing them all in my
browser.

Thanks,

If the website already exists and you don’t want to reconstruct it, it is very simple to use the Freeway Blogger action and integrate it using third party feeds to other parts of the site.

You wil have a page which is identical to your others if that is what you are seeking.

I’d suggest that you use a favicon to hide the “blogger” one, and consider a subdomain address to mask the fact that it’s off-site.

Remember though that search bots will consider this to be an external site.

I will post a link to the site I am currently working on later today once it is running.

I think there’s no substitute for doing the thing internally with a proper cms though, and blogger does have some quirks that take a bit of getting used to.

Don’t do as I do, I have a horribly cobbled together site! 😉

Cheers,

P

Thanks Davids and Peter,

I think that perhaps its time for me to look at Pulse, given that I also have to get to grips with CMS sometime soon too!
