[Pro] adding loading spinner to page

This is the first time anyone has reported this. Can you please tell me:

  1. Exact version of Mac OS
  2. Exact version of Freeway Pro
  3. Exact version of Protaculous2

Thanks,

Walter

I must do something really wrong. The script doesn’t keep into the DOM Loaded Observer code editor. I save it, publish it, upload the site and when I go back in FW the Protaculous2 action is empty.

And this exactly why I’m saying I must do something wrong.

Mac OS 10.6.8
Freeway Pro 6.1.0
Protaculous2 v1.1 (latest from Actions Forge)

Freeway Pro 6.1.0

The latest version is 6.1.2 - always worth updating.

We did it !!!
It works.
I cleaned my Actions Folder, downloaded a fresh Protaculous2,
and updated to Freeway Pro 6.1.2 and guess what ?
This version of FW specifically corrects Big Prompt in Protaculous2 : the text did not keep in other version then English.
And now it does.
And guess again ? I use FW in its French version !
So, you were absolutely right and I was not totally wrong.
I will now concentrate on the look and size of the loader gif after a nice glass of wine.
À votre santé ! and thank you so much for this “tutorial” !

Could you please try the following for me:

  1. Close all currently open Freeway documents.
  2. Open a new blank document, not based on any template.
  3. On the single page in that otherwise empty document, apply the Protaculous2 Action, and add some text – any text – to the DOM Loaded Observer editor.
  4. Publish the page, and preview it in a browser.
  5. Go back to Freeway, click the DOM Loaded Observer button and confirm that the code is still there.

Hi Walter,
Just in case and to double check,
I did what you asked me to do in a new blank document.
The code is still there. FW version 6.1.2 solved the issue.

I will now concentrate on the look and size of the loader gif after a nice glass of wine.

And dont forget about the 2 missing images hint.gif and loader.gif that should be in the graphics folder (part of the magiczoom files)
