[Pro] AddThis button Rollover

Hi everyone,

Ok, so I want to add an ‘add this’ button to my site.

I’m using pro so I click on Insert>ActionItem>Addthis. The button appears on my page which is great.

But when I publish the site and roll over the AddThis button I get a raft of text appear where all the buttons should be. I’ve tried it with a graphic box, a HTML box, with CSS switched on and off and it still does it.

I must be doing something wrong but for the life of me I don’t know what.

Hopefully you can help.

Hi Mark,

Someone else had the same issue a couple of hours back. Take a look here for the answer:

Hi Joe,

Thank you for your reply.

Am I right in understanding that when I upload it to my web provider the rollover problem won’t happen?

Also, I didn’t really understand where to paste Waltd’s html code to help solve the problem locally?

“put this inside the top Function Body in Protaculous, with prototype-packed as the library”

Thank you for your help.

Yep, once you upload it will be fine. Walt’s code will make the rollover work when previewing locally on your machine and requires the Protaculous Action that can be downloaded on ActionsForge:

http://actionsforge.com/actions/view/18-protaculous

Hope this helps,

Joe
