[Pro] Advanced Search Facility

Does anyone know of an way to produce an advanced search facility in Freeway, so our customers can select more options i.e, make, model, age, price range etc, and search within the site

Can you let us see your site but I suspect that this will need to be handled by a 3rd party search facility.

Hi, the new site is not live yet, the current site is www.pro-turf.co.uk, most of our traffic is guided in by keywords, so if a potential customer is looking for a used Kawasaki Mule, they will type that in a search engine, and will come to us, as we are normally near the top.

what my staff are asking is that, maybe they come to the site looking for a Kawasaki Mule, but actually what they may be looking for is a 4WD Diesel of any make.

So they ask me to put in an advance search facility were the customer can choose 4WD, 2WD, Diesel, Petrol, and find models that maybe we have that they have not considered.

I understand that its a 3rd party facility, but do not know were the find the best one available

Regards

How are you adding your used stock?

It strikes me that you should be considering a database driven system with which it would be simple to search for specifics with much more targeted results.

Maybe incorporating a script like Auto Classifieds Script | Car Dealer Script | Car Script | PHPJabbers

Other folk hear have been very pleased with the quality of the scripts and support they have received from the guys at PHPJabbers.
