A friend wants me to build them a website for a letting agency where a customer can choose a location, whether to rent a room or property plus other choices.
They want the search result to also to display images of the properties next to the pages found. Does anyone know is this is possible or how to do it.

Certainly it is possible but you really are looking at linking into a Database to do this properly so that would likely require a MySql and PHP solution.
Rather than try to do this yourself (especially if you have little or no experience with MySql and PHP) you should look for a canned solution such as the scripts that are offered at http://www.phpjabbers.com/php-scripts.php
The guys there are known to be helpful to FW users but of course there are many such scripts available.
