[Pro] Alignment of graphic item in text box

Two questions in one go:
I’m converting a visible email address to a graphic item in order to keep spam bots away. Is this a good idea?
And…
When doing so I just can’t get the text of the address to align with the html text. Somehow it stays locked half a line higher than the normal text. I thought I had tried everything, shift, align, etc, but perhaps somebody can give me the secret?

If you have set File>Document Setup>Output - Email hiding:Encode with entities

Then there is no need to convert to a graphic. Spambots read the code on your page not the visible text so there is no email address to harvest.

And if it was harvested by a person then they can read a graphic as well as text.

Great! Thanks a lot, David. This seems to answer both my questions in one go. I’ll try it out. Jon
