[Pro] ALT recommendation for CSS3 rollover

While CSS3 rollovers are great for links made from pure graphics - there are still browsers that don’t support it.

I was wondering what you all would recommend to use as a secondary/ALT method of adding something else to allow all browsers to see at least some kind of indication that a rollover is there (a live link) when it would not otherwise move.

I might be able to make a second graphic and do a regular rollover, but was hoping for something simpler. Hover and glow/grow or something…?

What is universally supported that can be used in conjunction with the CSS3 graphic rollovers I guess is the question? I’d like to at least have the CSS3RO effect available to those people with modern browsers…

One way to do it is to use conditional CSS to display a “dumbed down” version for those browsers that don’t have great CSS3 support. There are a few different methods/techniques to accomplish this.
