[Pro] Alt Text

I have a small question, can Google read text that is in a graphic box? Because when I click on “View Alt Text”, you can see the text. But it is seen as an image when I preview it in the browser. I would like to know this because then I don’t have to change everything HTML, and sometimes the graphics of the texts in graphic boxes are better than the ones in HTML boxes. (because you can set it to PNG in Millions). But if this can’t be read by Google, I am going to change it because that would be bad for my SEO score.

Please answer someone

Thank you,

Steijn

Google can not read graphic items but can read ALT tags. It is actually very important to have ALT tags.

For important text always try to use real text and not graphic items.

Further to this – Google will read the Alt text attribute, but it won’t trust it very much or give it much weight.
