I’m changing a website I’ve made a year ago in Freeway Pro 5.4.1 and when after I’ve uploaded the website there is an alt text desapearing in the browser (Safari, IE, Firefox), when the mouse goes over a submenu in the CMS menu, who isn’t correct. I don’t get it. The CSS menu is made in a master page en the submenu is linking to a page what is renamed in the inspector menu. Even after several refreches I still get the old page name as alt text
Thank you for the answers.
The CSS-menu is in html, so I don’t can add Alt Text if i’m correct.
The wesite can be viewed on labadoux.be In the menu you see ‘festival’ and in this submenu you have ‘programma’ > ‘algemeen’. When the mouse goes over ‘algemeen’ you see 1-2-3 mei 2009. The title of the page this year is ‘Programma Labadoux 4-8-9 mei 2010’.
When you Create/Edit a Hyperlink in FW a dialogue box opens.
If you select a page from internal/external there is a section below where you can add a Title. It is this Title that is used as your Alt text. Change/add it here (but on your Master) for a site wide alteration.
I never clicked on this little buttom before as far as I can remember, I always used the one on the right of it, to make a link. It’ all so easy when you know it. I don’t think I should have find it without your help!
