I admit it’s been quite some time since I’ve created a new website with FW Pro. But today is the day I started, and have already run into a couple of problems at the outset.
I’m trying to add a faint outer shadow on my landing page - in two places, both with different aspects. One ‘facing’ left and the other right. [i.e. one will be at 270 degrees and the other at 90.]
FW Pro 6.1 will not let me do it, it will only allow me to position the angle one way or the other and flips the second graphic frame to the same angle as the first.
In the Shadow settings, un-check “Global”. That will separate the two shadow angles from one another.

Aah… of course. Done. And thanks. It’s been too long and I’ve just not kept up.
My one other question [at this stage anyhow], is in the action ‘Current Date’ how to modify/change the font and colour?
Done and then undone! I’ve added a background colour and despite turning off ‘global’ on the shadow settings, both ‘left’ and ‘right’ shadows flipped to ‘face’ the same way. I can make manual adjustments to the angle but it has no effect.
Is there something I’m doing wrong, since by default, the global check box is on when selected and turning it off after applying the effect does nothing?
This is seriously frustrating for such a simple action.

Use the action inline into some text. Insert a space character either side of the action item and select the space-action-space sandwich and apply your styling.
