A (Page) action to add an ID to to get
Are there any actions that are capable of this.
I know that source Code Snooper can do it but I would be as well to post process my html rather than use it for such a small task.

You do not need an action for that, you silly gooses. 
Go to menu Page > Extended, create a new Extended attribute for the body
tag Name = id and value = somevalue.

Thanks Walter - this is something that I am working on which is designed for someone that is code averse - hence the action idea.
Trying to steer clear of the Extended dialogues.
Thanks for your input Ernie - I have never been in Page>Extended! It has always been Item>Extended. I will look at that when I get back to the ranch.

Well - what do you know. Ernie was spot on!
While I know that Walter can write actions in his sleep and it probably only took him a few nanoseconds to knock that one up I should have known better.
