No response so far. Perhaps I expressed myself rather badly and the problem was difficult to grasp?
Anyway, I have now worked out a solution, which appears quite well visually, if not perfect. But all is done with Hype, animation and text. I would have preferred to have the text on the page and the animation separately. As it is, quite a lot of work with breakpoints in Hype.

Can anyone with some spare time have a look at the example and see if there is a better solution?
