[Pro] Another Rollover question?

I was able to successfully get a rollover to work on a previous site. Now it seems that no matter what I try, it just won’t do what I need it to.

I have a three graphics layered in this order: clicked arrow on the bottom, a rollover arrow in the middle and a normal arrow on the top. I grouped them and applied the rollover action. In the rollover action palette, I check and uncheck the appropriate arrows for the proper states. When I go to preview it in a browser, everything works except the clicked arrow stays on and won’t go back to the normal state until something else is clicked.

I would like the navigation arrows to work exactly like the ones on the supplied website.

I’ve read several posts regarding the rollover button conundrum, viewed video tutorials and read the manual. I’m having a hard time reconciling some of the information. Is group the same as combine graphics? Where is the layer(ed) check box? I’m pulling my hair out.

Thank you very much for any assistance.

Can you post a link to your example - that will tell us a lot more.

If you look at http://www.deltadesign.co/FW6Test/rollover-arrows.html this shows what I think you are after.

Start with 3 layered graphic containers into which you import your 3 arrows - normal, over and click

Align the 3 and then select them all and Item>Group (settings for each graphic are shown prior to grouping)

Apply the Rollover action to the Group and then the other pic shows the rollover settings.

David,

Thank you very much for your reply. I sincerely appreciate your help. I don’t have a means to post my image describing the steps, graphics and settings. Is there a way to include that in these postings?

If not, I could PM you with the info.

Thanks again, David.
