Aloha,
Anytime I touch a page it’s marked as needing to be published even though I haven’t changed a thing. Sometimes I am just looking at a page or copying something from a page. No big deal but I am wondering why.

This can often be because certain actions require to run on every page - are you using anything like ‘Link to Page’?

This did not happen in 5.5 and I have no link to page. I am pretty new to Freeway so I am sure I’m not doing something right.

What actions are you using - and have you made sure that you are using the latest versions.
Check on actionsforge.com to see if your action versions are up to date. The pic below shows you where to find the action version.

My Freeway Pro is 6.06 and it says it’s up to date but I am afraid I don’t know what you mean by check on actionsforge.com to see if your action versions are up to date. The pic below shows you where to find the action version. To the best of my knowledge I have never used actions forge.com.

You select any item on the FW page that has an action applied - or is an action item - and look in the Actions window.
From the main Main Menu (at the top of your screen) Window>Actions
What actions are you using on your site? Did you have an earlier version of FW before you got 6.

FW is 6.06

What action is v 1.7?
The important thing is that each action has a version number.
What actions are you using in your FW doc - do you have any actions on your Master page(s) - if so what are they.
If you go into the main FW Menu and choose Edit>Actions a window will open showing all of your actions installed in FW.
Under the Used column you will see numbers next to certain actions. The number tells you how many times a particular action is used.
Make a note of which actions have numbers against them.
This may help to track down a particular action that is causing this to happen.
