[Pro] Apache server

hello all.

I was sent a file copy of a website, and I could not view it like I can view my own file copies… I was told
it has to be put on an Apache server with certain redirect setup. A lot of the pages are written in PHP

as there are databases

Can anyone help me with this

thx

It sounds like you need an application server to make this work. I would just try to follow the directions given and install it on a server.

Perhaps their suggestion referred to setting up a local development (Apache) server using something simple like MAMP. Of course, uploading them to a remote server should do the trick too.
