Cheaper than even the upgrade price. I wonder if this price is introductory or “permanent.”

I suspect it is permanent, until it goes down. Intro prices are
usually labeled as such. I think they’re trying to set the tone for
other developers to follow.
And if this takes off and really starts to work for people, it will
become like the iOS App Store – lots and lots of impulse purchases
with little or no drag make for some great profits for everyone. After
all, 70% of a sale you wouldn’t otherwise make is a great deal for the
developer, especially if you are honest about what that “100%” sale
actually cost you to make.

A DPR report stated that they tried to contact Apple for comment regarding permanency of the offer. Apple gave no response. It has become however the 5th biggest seller on the App store and the largest grossing seller.
