When signing up for a key I see this announcement from Google
Note: The Google Maps Javascript API Version 2 has been officially deprecated as of May 19, 2010.
Version 3 does not require an API key.
The V2 API will continue to work as per our deprecation policy,
but we encourage you to migrate your code to version 3 of the Maps Javascript API.
So if we do not need a key do we need to change the way we add code for a google map? Is the action still OK to use?
Thanks for letting us know. Updating the Google Maps Action to the latest version of the API is on our list.
Cheers,
Joe
