[Pro] BackDraft Responsive CSS menu

Hi All

How do I achieve getting a main menu title - ‘Community’ - with 5 Sub-Menus to drop down, while ‘Community’ is not being linked to a page it’s self.

Does that make sense??

Regards

Lee

Hi Lee

Put a hash symbol in as the link for you page.

So instead of community.html just put #

Hi Gary

Thanks for the tip but for me it didn’t work. I must have been doing something wrong.

Post a link to your page online. The link above is 404

Hi David

I’ve changed the menu around a bit now, so when you hover over ‘Community’ the sub menus drop down but the ‘Community’ is still a link but a link to ‘Diary’. All I need is that when you hover over ‘Community’ the sub-menus drop down.

This is the new link: http://brutontown.uk then hover over Community and then click on the link.

Hope this makes sense.

Lee

so when you hover over ‘Community’ the sub menus drop down

What you want to do is select Community and Cmd + K to Edit Hyperlink

Instead of using the Internal Tab and choosing the Diary page to link to. Choose the External Tab and type in an octothorp # (pound sign those lot call it)

I’d always called it a hash… except when it’s prepended to a numeral and
meant as “number” (as in “Love Potion #9”). “Pound” sign or key on
telephonic keypads exclusively, I think… as I cannot recall this use in any
other sentence except for the recorded one “Enter your password then press
Pound”.
