Hello again everyone,
Here’s a first for me - I’m going to be using either a simple Hype animation (the preferred way) or a fading slideshow on a Backdraft page, so my question is, what would be the best module to use for this?

The only stipulation is that you stay away from using any of the “Extra” modules. They are a different breed of modules altogether and don’t take too kindly to a alteration in their content.
Otherwise, any module would do.

And, you are correct.
Let me rephrase: The “Extra” modules don’t like big changes to their layout. That doesn’t mean that you can’t change them, but just tread carefully.
