Hi,
I was wondering if there was an up to date action (or code) to enable a background image to stretch when the browser expands? I’m using Freeway Pro 7 with Backdraft 2.0. My image is 1800px but too small for a 27" screen and I don’t want a tiled image.
Thanks for your help

Any chance for having a look into an example?
By guess, select the item with the bg-image applied to, → item → extended from the context menu and add (DIV-Style tab):
background-size : cover
The first term goes into name, the second into value.
Cheers

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your help. The image is not in an item, it’s the page background.
How and where would I add this to PAGE / HTML Markup?
Thanks again

Hello,
I had a similar issue a little while ago and Walter also advised on the above but with the addition of using the PrefixFree Action on the page so that older Browsers get the benefit of the effect.

Hi
Ok solved this! Just found this thread and it works perfectly!
Adding these to BODY / EXTENDED in the Styles Inspector
NAME: background-attachment VALUE: fixed
NAME: background-size VALUE: cover
Thanks again

Post a link to your example page
But you could try the following if you have added an image as a page background.
Page>Extended create a New entry.
Put style in the name field and background-size:cover in the value field

Hello,
Select the page, then go to Page > Extended and create a new item with the
Name of style
and the value of background-size: cover
