[Pro] Background Sound - Help

Hello,

I completed a Page Action using background sound. But, once I selected the source file “MP3” in my site folder and load the preview page in safari no background music is playing - even after a minute or so. Went back to the inspector and change loop from false to true and made sure the MP3 file was selected in my site root folder - still no sound after previewing.

Any ideas? I know most web designers don’t recommend this page action but it is important for the content of the home page I am building.

Thanks for any help given!!!

How large is that MP3 file?

Even After A Minute. The MPS is 2.1MB. The file I purchase as a license for my web site. I am trying to play the full song. I had use this same MP3 in dreamweaver and netobjects with no problems.

Is there another action script I maybe missing that allows me to play it in the background with any controls showing on the enduser side?

Could you post a link to the page that should be playing the song?
I’d like to take a quick look at the code - that might help shed some
light on the problem.

Hey,

Fix it. Why there was no background Sound - because I was inserting the action onto the Master Page. When I insert background sound to the index page it came on as soon as I did a preview.

As to the Master page, have no idea why FM Pro will not play the sound - strange.

Thanks Again,

Louis
