[Pro] Background Supersizer [0.3.2]

Does anybody know why when using the ‘Background Supersizer [0.3.2]’ with other actions on a page causes them to not to work properly?
I have tried using Transition FX and Target hide/show layer with the Background Supersizer but can’t get them work together… when removing the Background Supersizer the other actions work fine.

any help is very much appreciated!

There is likely a javascript conflict as BG Supersize uses jQuery while the native FW actions use script/protaculous.

Hi, this worked for me:
go to: Page - HTML markup - Before Head (second one):

I updated Background Supersizer for Softpress and sent it to them for vetting and posting to the Forge. As soon as they do that, and you update your copy of the Action, you should be able to use it with Prototype-based Actions in the same page.

Walter, does the Background Supersizer action work with responsive websites?

I’m not sure. All I can say is give it a try. I’m pretty sure it recalculates its big image when the window is resized. Note that it won’t do anything besides try to cover the entire screen, regardless of the aspect ratio. It won’t resize the image differently at different screen sizes/orientations.

Anyone know why Background Supersizer won’t work.
I have smooth scroll and auto clear fix on the page. I removed them but it still did not work.

A mix of jQuery and script/protaculous is the likely cause.

I suspect your no-conflict is in the wrong place.

Where does the no conflict go?

After the call to load jQuery and any jQ plug ins

<script type='text/javascript'>
 jQuery.noConflict();
</script>

Ok so Exhibeo was the problem. Could not get the no conflict script to work.
Also is there a way to get the background super sizer to be responsive?

Not sure what you mean as it is inherently responsive.
