[Pro] background supersizer

Hi - Im using the background supersizeron a clients homepage and all was working well. Now suddenly it doesnt seem to work. Not sure what the issue is, just not showing up the images.
Im working in Freeway Pro 6.1 and it worked in this before!
anyone have an idea what the issue could be?

Thanks
Jill

Post a link to the non working page online and we can have a look.

What problem are you getting?

Hi Big Ern… yes I have tried turning it off and on again!
deleted it and re loaded it and nothing. It works ok on another website I am doing! Do you think it might have anything to do with having opened it up first in freeway pro 7 and then working back on it in freeway 6?

Hi DeltaDave will post a link to it.

how best to upload the link to show you? normally I would send youthe link to the website on my server… is this risky?

What I and many others do is use subdomains or subdirectories in the web
portion of our servers… which more or less amounts to folders in the public
html directory. Such folders do not bother your main website files, and
Freeway uploads its files right around them.

For example, I keep a folder for miscellaneous Freeway projects here -
http://cssway.thebigerns.com/products/

and another for working through issues here -
http://cssway.thebigerns.com/workbench/

So, if you create a subfolder on a server that you control and publish your
FWP site files there, then share the link to that folder (
http://www.mysitename/subfoldername/ ) we will be able to see what code FWP
output and try to work our way back from that.

That was the reason for the video comedy - requests for publishing and
sharing output from problem files are most often the starting point for
solving issues.

HI - thanks Big Ern - I usually upload in the https part of my web server via FETCH! So Ill stick it in the public html directory instead.

I think, having trouble shooted on this all day… is possibly a duplicate error of some sort… deleted all repeated supersizer apps from freeway and started again!
however that is still not working…aarggh!

will upload now

The supersizer is working but you have added a bg colour to the page that is hiding it

background-color: #999;

Remove all grey backgrounds from your page until you discover which one is doing it.

YOU ARE JOKING ME!!! I don’t remember doing that as it worked before!

Can’t believe it was something that simple!

Thank you David… much appreciated. I will check that out now.
