I’m now on my third web page design using Freeway Pro.
I’m just curious as to how you veteran Freeway Pro users begin in a new site. Do you take one you’ve done before and simply modify it or do you start from scratch?

Mostly from Scratch and depending customers point of view.
While I started in the early days always with a blank new page trying to fill with stuff through Inspector, Actions (Freeway’s Graphic Pack), I today do my layout in a complete photoshop surrounding. Not doing this I recognized, that I can’t keep or reach a certain structure and everything looked a bit wild.
What I outermost keep, is a basic grid, 960px page width, 12 columns whatever project I tackle.
What I should do (and always forget or through laziness) is to extend this grid-(template) with some basic predefined styles (H1, H2, H3 p …) and some colors I always use to use and some basic document settings like JPEG 85% or PNG millions or a Doctype that would save me time.
And of course I steel and plunder cool pages or better said I let me inspire of those ideas (in fact I always rebuild my stuff
Freeway as brillant “Framework” to set the HTML stuff, a bit flavored with Photoshop and proper set images, results in strong, semantic and simplified and modern code. That’s my target.
Hope there’s something in you’d been after.
Cheers
Thomas
