When using the blogger actions to set up my blog on Blogspot, I followed the instructions, and everything got up and rolling just fine. But, when I posted the blog and viewed it on the web a couple of odd things happened.
First off, I have a site page with a background image. I drew a graphic box, chose a white background and then began drawing the blogger actions on top of that graphic box.
I chose preview, then back to the page, clicked on an action and hit the paste to clipboard.
I followed all the instructions at the Blogger site, pasted the code to the html layout section and all went well.
When I previewed the blogger parts they were there, but the but all the parts that were the blog parts were on top of the white, but the page background cut through the white graphic background, with the blogger action parts showing with the page background.
After I removed the page background and the graphic, the blog parts appeared normal, on a white background.
I’m asking if anyone knows why the page background cut through the graphic. Also, I had a rotating banner ad stack on the top with my company logo. In the blog, the rotating banner ads stopped. None of them appeared. They were gifs, set as layers with a layer action applied.
Any thoughts ?
