I changed my tekst with links for buttons with links but now the website loading goes very very slow (look at www.artivideo.nl). What to do ?
Also if you press the “nieuws flash” button (and one of the other 3 buttons to the right of it) tekst is slightly visible between the buttons !!! It only apears with buttons 5, 6, 7, 8. When you press the first 4 buttons the tekst between the buttons (looks like a shadow) is gone again Any solutions ? I tried to copy button “Home” which seems to look ok and duplicate them for the buttons 5,6,7 and 8 but the problem stays.
Restart your Mac, maybe? There’s nothing inherently slow about buttons (presuming here you mean the Button Action, which makes little graphic buttons of varying styles). They certainly would not slow down your page, as they are in the dozens of bytes each; a rounding error within the context of a total page size.

Restarted my imac and now it is ok considering the speed, good advice I also solved the problemof tekst shadow. On some page there was the oldtext still in a layer below the top one, deleted it and now it is gone.
Anew question popped up. when I switch from one page to the othe I see it flashing of items comming in. Will that be less if I group all items on every page so the come in all at once ???
