[Pro] Can this be done in Freeway?

Hi everyone,
I found a couple of posts on full screen backgrounds (and the actions needed for it) but I wonder if there’s a possibility for a flash or moviefile to fill the complete background of a page. Of course I would like to use Flash orthe movie for the background and build my page in Freeway on top of that image. Kind of like the thing that is seen here: http://www.ivengi.com/

regards,

Your sample site could be done partly in Freeway.

The flash movie portion is actually not the entire background, but the text boxes etc. that appear to be over the flash movie are actually part of the flash file. You would still need to create those portions of the page that need to be on top in flash at the same time as the flash movie.

All the other parts of the site could be done in Freeway with the flash movie in the center.

Thanks for your reply. What I’m actually looking for is the same thing this action (ActionsForge - The Complete Repository of Freeway Actions) does but instead of using an image I would like to use a movie or flash animation. Hope you can help me out on this one.

I’m afraid the only way to have the entire browser window have a flash background would be if the entire page was created in Flash.

The problem is that Flash, being plug-in content, rises to the top and it is difficult to get any standard html over the top of it,

If you want Flash underneath for reliability then you will need Flash on top.

Hmmm, was afraid of that. When I look at my reference site (http://www.ivengi.com) it seems that some content over the flash is in html. The textboxes left and right and the logostrip seem to be. Guess I have to give up hope.
Thanks for you replies.

You can put HTML items over Flash by using

This will punch a hole in the Flash movie giving the appearance of
Flash movie being behind a HTML item - when its just punching a hole
in the Flash top layer.
