[Pro] "Can't find Resource"

I dragged a jpeg on my page. Whenever I try to “Preview” in Freeway it says the file can not be found. Same thing when I try to “Publish” in my Safari browser.I have other .jpgs and no problem. Any thoughts?? I am using a Mac.

Hi Chris

Are you saying that you see a message about the file not being found in the “Publish Problems” dialog? If so, this suggests that you have moved the JPEG from its original location (or perhaps it was on a server that is no longer available to your computer).

I suggest you move the JPEG to your startup drive and then re-import it. As long as you don’t move the file again, it shouldn’t report that the file cannot be found.

Another way to fix it is to go to Edit>Resources, look down the list to see if that image has a “status” of “Missing”. If it does, select it, click Edit, click Locate, and then relink to the original resource file. Now publish and it should work fine.
