[Pro] Can't select anything

I am new to Freeway (I have pro).

I am suddenly unable to select anything with my arrow. I can’t select the table that I added or double click to add or edit a text box.

If I add a text box through a drop down menu, it does appear but then I can not edit it.

All of these things I was able to do previously. Does anyone know why I suddenly can’t, and how I can fix?

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes I forget to enter (return) after changing a value in the inspector, and that leaves everything greyed out, hope that helps.

That did the trick. Thanks!

It’S happening again, and this time hitting “return” isn’t working.

Also creating a new text box via drop-down works, but no text can be entered and nothing can be selected. I’ve tried hitting return a few times but no luck.

Sounds like you may be using the text field or text area boxes which are for site user to enter text.

You would want to us html item (just click on html and draw or manipulate the after pulldown select item)

I opened an HTML box and entered some text, and then after hitting return I was no longer able to reopen the box and edit further.

And the ability to select anything has frozen up again.

Try making sure the column on your left side of screen is in site view (vs. page view) find the page your working on, open the arrow on the left of it if ness., find the html item and click on it.

That make sure you got the right on (handles will show) click once inside.

If not, i afraid someone more experienced will need to help you.

I suggest the first couple pages of the manual at least, or check out:

tutorials

Manuals

I still go back for the most basic things becuase getting started wrong on something can lead to a lot of wasted time!

Good luck.

Thanks again, I will try those options-- and I will go back and read more carefully.

Most appreciatively, Drake
