[Pro] Carousel Auto-Glide

Hi,

When I use Carousel with an Auto-Glide of a few seconds I expected the Auto-Glide function to cease if the user clicks the ‘Next’ or ‘Previous’ Carousel buttons, but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

It still progresses to the next Pane even if the user has specifically clicked to view a particular Pane, which doesn’t seem right.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks,

Sly.

There are new features in the latest version of Protaculous Protaculous - ActionsForge (which contains the Carousel stuff) - which allows you to set a button as Start Auto-Glide or Stop Auto-Glide.

Also, pressing either previous or next will also stop the auto glide.

Thanks chaps. Pressing either previous or next stopping auto-glide was exactly what I was after, thanks.

Updating the Protaculous.fwaction was slightly tricky. Double clicking the new downloaded action would not replace it for me.

So, For the record:
I replaced the action manually by going to

MyHomeFolder/Library/Application Support/Freeway 5/Actions/General/

(where MyHomeFolder is the name of your home folder)

removed the old Protaculous.fwaction to the bin and put the new one in it’s place.

Then I found that the Carousel actions on my existing pages showed the latest version number.
