When using the Carousel Action Script, anyway to control how fast or slow a Carousel pane slides in?

If you have the latest version of the Action, then you can change the
Effect Duration setting to whatever time you like. Default is a half-
second. Enter a decimal number of seconds.

Yes, the duration of the effect governs how long it takes to switch
panes. If you have a lot of panes and a very short duration, they will
“whip past”.
