I’m trying to make a page to display three different carousels. Initially the page would have three buttons and no carousel visible. The viewer would click on a thumbnail button and the related carousel would appear along with the carousel ‘next’ and ‘previous’ buttons.
I’ve made the three carousels, and they work individually when I test them. Then I put the ‘show/hide layer’ action on each carousel and stacked them on the same spot. I set each to ‘initially hidden’, and gave each a unique target number and then set the same click number on the corresponding rollover button.
When I test it the carousels are hidden, but when I click the rollover buttons, they never appear.
Am I going about this the right way? Is it possible to do what I am trying to do?
Also, if you want to look at what I will look at once you publish this
somewhere I can see it, simply open your Safari preferences, click on
the Advanced tab, and check “Show Develop menu…”. Once that’s
enabled, you choose Develop / Show Error Console and look for anything
in red. That’s the starting point. Understanding the red words comes
later.

Do you have an example page online that we can look at?
